GIGA CHANNEL series is embedded module that provides Giga-bit high-speed and reliable data transmission among various types of nodes in loop topology.
GIGA CHANNEL operates at a wide variety of speeds ( 8 Gbits/s) on optical media. The data transmission with hardware-intensive proprietary protocol and shared memory equipped in each GIGA CHANNEL module, realizes easy-to-use installation and wide range of applications. The data written in the shared memory of one GIGA CHANNEL module, is transferred to a loop network and is reflected to another shared memory of each GIGA CHANNEL modules on the loop network. GIGA CHANNEL enables various high-speed distributed processing applications, such as factory automation, multimedia, and medical visualization that the existing network interconnects are unable to run at the speeds needed.
